Alex Wells Shapiro lent NUNUM a few of his charcoal pieces to blend with Caitlin Bagwell's story 'Surplus Male' and together they came right up against what we strive for with every piece we release, a little bit of insightful madness.
Alex Wells Shapiro is a poet and visual artist living and working in Chicago. His visual work consists primarily of graphite and charcoal drawings produced through repetitive, heavy mark making. He received his MFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago in 2017.
