Quartets

Older. New city, house too small for all the books. The public library took a few, but still far too many.
Four hardbacks, Mishima's Sea of Fertility, took up a lot of space. He put them in his car. When he saw a Little Free Library, he stopped and dropped one in.  
Four hardback copies of Durrell's Alexandria Quartet took up a lot of space. He loaded them into his car. When he saw a Little Free Library, he stopped and left one volume inside.  
Over time, he conquered space.
The city was unaware it had entered a scavenger hunt.
