Water

The water is always on. Flowing. Through pipes in the walls, spraying dishes, soaking clothes, filling bathtubs, sprinkling in showers, and swirling down toilets. Faux rain over all the flowers, grasses, and shrubs, along with some attempt at a garden, because working with your hands reconnects you with the earth instead of with the computer and your office chair. So Pinterest, and TikTok, and YouTube, and X, and Instagram say.
And then, the drains.
