Neon Rabbit

The thick wires pulsed with neon light, running through his arms, legs, and back with unyielding persistence. The bound man himself never twitched.
I examined the equipment carefully, but there seemed to be no surefire way to remove him safely from those technological chains. He was a hostage to whatever drug circulated through his system.
Monsters! I screamed.
He heard. He stirred.
His eyes flickered blue, and his body trembled. Time fell from that emaciated fellow. Resplendent, he stood, with wires sparking from him, spilling gallons of blue liquid everywhere. He laughed.
And I heard temptation.
