Dylan Davis sprinkled a little magic our way with his voyeuristic reflection entitled 'It's Goldenrod Inside' which we here thought a fitting way to wrap up NUNUM's Summer 2018 issue. Jaxson clouded Dylan's text into a time-lapse piece of Mt. Mayon in the Bicol region of the Philippines. The two hatched together into something very special and ended up achieving exactly what we are trying to get into here.
Zoe Ballering is in the midst of completing her MFA at Western Washington University in Bellingham, Washington. She's currently working on her thesis, a collection of short stories of speculative fiction dealing with themes of pain, grief, and the body—and naked mole rats, which is of course what she so kindly gave us for NUNUM's Summer 2018 issue.
Tracy Pitts is a film photographer in Oregon. His photography has appeared in the Emerson Review, December Magazine, and the Sun Magazine among many others. And of course his work became the cover of NUNUM's Summer 2018 issue.
Born in Illinois and raised in Tennessee, Ernest Williamson is now also a part of the NUNUM scene after his loose suggestive painting 'Doting Diana' got our eyes. This work merged with a satirical flash piece we got from CK Rose to become a feature in our Summer 2018 issue called 'A New Benchmark'.
NUNUM Summer 2018 is out of the cage and on the prowl. Turned into an issue about changes, the ones we see and maybe more potently the ones we don't. Tracy Pitts put a hound on our cover this time 'round just to remind what happens when we don't pay attention to these changes.
