Blending Flash Fiction & Art

The art of Hannah Jeremiah

Picture
Hannah Jeremiah is an interdisciplinary artist living in Little Rock, AR. Working without a plan, she allows images to enter her work the way they flood her psyche. She finds meaning that exists beyond the limitations of logic through intuitively processing her surroundings. Born in Van Buren, AR, and raised in West Hartford, CT, she attended The Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA) in Baltimore, MD. A grateful recipient of the Sera and Tudor Savu Prize, she served as an artist in residence at Annmarie Sculpture Garden in Dowell, MD. She performed within collaborative works for Light City: Baltimore’s Festival of Light, as well as Overlapping Kinespheres Festival, a dance showcase in Philadelphia, PA. She worked as a Maker Education Coach for Future Makers in Baltimore, MD and is currently developing a podcast called Art & Whiteness.

Blending Flash Fiction & Art

Interview with Tracy Whiteside

Picture
Tracy Whiteside is a Chicago-area photographer specializing in Conceptual Art. Her pieces were blended in NUNUM's Fall 2002 issue with the words of Frances Lefkowitz to create Octopus.

Most of Tracy's work centres on women and their emotions. Typically, it lies on the dark side of humanity however, with the world in turmoil she has decided she needed some color and silliness in her life.

Tracy was kind enough to give us a little of her time recently so keep reading for some great ideas on submission, inspiration and of course reading habits.

Blending Flash Fiction & Art

Interview with Jack Remiel Cottrell

Picture
Jack's  'The practical downsides of accidental necromancy' gave a little breath of life to our Fall 2020 issue and really helped us find our focus this time around.

Jack was kind of enough to give us a little of his time recently and yes I know you can't wait to find out what was the first book he ever read.

Take a minute, give it a think and then keep reading ...
