Now, do you remember the first book that you sat down and read by yourself?

Penumbra (noun) - the partially shaded outer region of the shadow cast by an oblique object; a shadowy, indefinite, marginal area; the transitional space denoting the transfiguration of conditions.

This series began as a basic exploration into a simple concept. Having hit a bit of a conceptual wall in my work, I decided to strip down my process in order to explore some new techniques.
