Why write flash fiction?

I love the challenge--and impact--of working in a small space.

What advice would you give someone who is just starting to send their work out to journals?

Write, revise, repeat. And do your research when looking for places to publish.
Do you write in more than one genre?

Yes, irresponsibly all over the place, from fiction and poetry to criticism and translation.

How do you ever find the time to write?

By taking a deep breath, shutting the door, and ignoring other obligations for a set time every day.
