Oluwaseyi (Shayee) Awoyomi

​Oluwaseyi (Shayee) Awoyomi is a third generation  self taught Nigerian visual and a performing artist. She pulls energy from the patterns in the traditional Adire of the Yoruba people, carrying on their unspoken language of communication in most of her works. In her art, inspiration can flow at anytime, from everywhere and it was exactly these quality’s that her work ‘Brain Map’ brought to the Spring 2018 edition of Nunum.
