'The Phosphors' is a series of optical aberrations of video images Reggie Davis has crafted from distorted phosphorescent matrix patterns he found on CRT TV screens. NUNUM couldn’t have been happier when Reggie decided to share three pieces from this series with us.

'Doors of Perception', 'Vectors' and 'Geometrica' are perfect representatives from the larger series. They eloquently capture moments when devices of seemingly flawless functionality error and distort into instances which let us glimpse at the aesthetics of digital malfunction and the social implications of modern technology.

Reggie Davis is a self-taught visual, green artist, of color  working in the mediums of found objects sculpting; recycled photo collage, montage, and assemblage. His mantra of “Create works of art that provides spiritual nourishment, enlightenment and moments of introspection” is on fully display with the brief snapshot of his work NUNUM is so delighted to be able to present here.

Over the years Reggie’s worked with a wide range of galleries and print publications.
